How to embed a PDF menu or brochure in Wix

Choose a readable PDF layout, match the reader to your site and understand when a flipbook is useful.

By Karelia Labs · Updated 15 October 2026

A Wix site and a PDF selected from Media Manager or available at a public HTTPS URL.

Prepare a readable document

Export your menu, brochure or catalog as a PDF. Text should be selectable where possible, with clear headings and readable type. Check the file itself on a small screen; a reader cannot fix text that is too small in the original document.

Add the reader and choose the PDF

Install Karelia PDF from the App Market, add its reader to your page and open the settings. Choose a PDF from Media Manager or connect a public HTTPS PDF link. A link that requires a sign-in is not a public document URL.

Choose a reading layout

Single-page and continuous-scroll reading are included in the free plan. A restaurant menu often works well in continuous scroll. For a brochure where page turns are part of the experience, Pro adds the flipbook layout.

Match the reader to the page

Choose a reader theme and colors. Decide whether to show download and print controls. Pro also includes document search, thumbnails and fullscreen reading. Business supports multiple documents in a reader and per-document view counts.

Check the visitor experience

Preview the page on desktop and a phone. Navigate between pages, zoom into the text and test the document link. Keep a descriptive heading and a short explanation on the web page so visitors know what they are opening.
