Wix Stores, physical sample products and their matching full-size products. Review processing in the dashboard before launch.
Create real sample products
A fabric swatch, material sample or finish sample should be a physical product with its own price, inventory and fulfillment setup. Connect it to the matching full-size product. Sample orders use your existing store cart and checkout.
Set a clear credit policy
Choose the percentage of the sample value to credit, the maximum units and the validity period from purchase date. Explain those terms near the offer. Shipping and tax are excluded, and unused credit value does not roll over.
Add the sample offer
Add the sample button on the connected product page and check that it points to the right sample. Mandatory sample customizations and converted-currency orders are outside this version.
Review credit processing
Use the private dashboard to inspect qualifying paid source orders, issued credits and redemptions. Retry processing when needed. Before offering this workflow to customers, test it in your own store and verify that the expected product-specific, one-use code appears.
Explain where the customer finds the code
Customers find a code on the matching product page using the same account, or the same browser for guest purchases. The app sends no customer email. Codes can be shared and are not buyer-locked. Review unused-code revocation after a source order is canceled or refunded.
